Overtime is weekly, even on a biweekly period
Payroll runs on two-week cycles, but overtime under the FLSA is always calculated per workweek, not per pay period. This calculator keeps the two weeks separate: it applies your weekly overtime threshold to each week individually, then adds the results. That prevents the common mistake of averaging 80 hours across two weeks and missing overtime earned in a single heavy week.
What you get
Enter clock-in, clock-out and break minutes for all 14 days. You'll see total, regular and overtime hours for the whole period, an estimated gross pay when you add your rate, and a CSV you can hand to payroll.
